I'm going to consider "Basic Business Pack" of the 2016 edition.
This time I will introduce a simple "approval flow", for the first of the series.
It's nothing but basically
- an employee submits a plan and
- his/ her superior approves it.
This Workflow is just a good template to "get used" to the online Workflow system. It will be sufficient to give some alteration to "Remark" (input hint) in the input form for your own usage. Yet, it will be more likely to be used longer.
If you are
- thinking to quit approval documents in paper
- feeling a limit to the approval documents management in MS-Excel or Google Spreadsheet
I would like you to try running it within a small team for commissioning by importing this Workflow to "Questetra BPM Suite", a Workflow platform for Free
[Planning-Approval flow]
When you try to experience this Business flow on "Questetra BPM Suite", a Cloud-based Workflow, I recommend to create User accounts of 4 to 5 people. That's because in the default state, only one User is registered in the system, so you will not be able to real experience the roles of "applicant" and "boss" and "officer".
For example, you create a new user account and register it as a [Member] of "Sales department".
By doing so, you will be able to actually experience a Workflow that, when you let the User of [Member] role executing "1. Submit plan draft", so that a Task of "2. Approve" comes automatically to the User in the role of "Superior". (It won't be fun if you make application in the state of only one User registered, the Task of "2. Approve" will end up coming to yourself.)
